About Sue
Twenty years experience in the financial services industry – including overseas banking – gives Sue Hayter a solid background in the opportunities and pitfalls of property investing.
Her services range from providing for the financial needs of property investors – whether for a first purchase or a large property portfolio – right through to first home buyers with a small deposit.
“One of the best services I can give my clients is information about their home loan product so they can understand how it works and therefore are able to find ways to save money with the way in which they operate their home loan,” she says. “With the help of Smartline’s specialist software, I take great care to offer clients the right loan structure so that it is best suited to their individual needs.”

“As a property investor myself, for example, I understand the mechanics of negative gearing and the associated loan structuring. I also look after all financing needs, from home loans, to personal loans, leasing, commercial and business finance and insurance.”

Equipped with a Diploma of Financial Services from Melbourne’s RMIT University, Sue is a full member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA). She is also a member of the Senior Australians Equity Release Association (SEQUAL), which means she can advise on reverse mortgages, and a member of the Credit Ombudsman Service.
